The All Blacks

​The All Blacks are the New Zealand national rugby team. Prior to performing, they perform an intimidating Ka Mate Haka dance to challenge their opponents. Considered the best rugby team in the world, Haka provides the All Blacks with a ‘psychological edge’ over their opponents, who must stand and watch as an act or respect to the tradition. Because of the unique performance and its ability to instill intimidation, opposing teams have developed strategies to compete with the haka dance before their games, such as delaying tactics so the All Blacks’ heart rates return to normal before the match begins. The All Blacks have performed Haka for over 120 years on the national rugby team and have won over 77% of their matches.
